Entez Tutorial |
Entrez is a retrieval system for searching several linked databases, these are a list of databases that can be searched using Entrez:

| PubMed | The biomedical literature with access to over 11 million citations in MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE, and other related databases |
| Nucleotide sequence database | GenBank (contains EMBL and DDBJ entries) |
| Protein sequence database | compiled from a variety of sources, including SwissProt, PIR, PRF, PDB, and translations from annotated coding regions in GenBank and RefSeq |
| Structure | three-dimensional macromolecular structures |
| Genome | complete genome assemblies to over 800 organisms, all three main domains of life - bacteria, archaea, and eukaryota - are represented, as well as many viruses and organelles. |
| PopSet | population study data sets used to analyse the evolutionary relatedness of a population |
| Taxonomy | organisms in GenBank |
| OMIM | Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man catalog of human genes and genetic disorders |
